Maureen Robinson

The 2021 collection has been personally hand-selected by Master of Malts Maureen Robinson, her first ever curation of this kind. With a 40-yearlong legacy of dedication to and understanding of whisky, Robinson takes on the mantle from her colleague Dr Jim Beveridge OBE, Diageo’s celebrated master blender.Her Prima & Ultima curation focuses on mature whiskies with distinctive histories and flavours which she personally regards as outstanding, and includes appearances from lesser known distilleries to surprise and delight connoisseurs.

Behind the Collection

Honouring the sunrise and sunset in whisky history of some of Scotland’s most prestigious distilleries, this year’s gathering represents a wide breadth of single vintage malts from Diageo. This year includes new appearances from ghost distillery Convalmore, a piece of history from Auchroisk, and a very rare Lagavulin.
